Senior moves in Wimberley

Wimberley is one of the most popular places in Texas to retire, and about a third of the people who live here are 65 or older. D&V Movers' San Marcos team helps Wimberley seniors and their families with moves of every size:

Downsizing. We move what you're keeping to a smaller home, apartment or senior community, and can haul away furniture that isn't making the trip.

Careful packing. We pack dishes, photos, art and keepsakes with care, and set furniture up in the new room so it feels like home on day one.

Family-friendly planning. A son or daughter can book the move and handle the details by phone or text, even from out of town.

Retiring to Wimberley. Moving to the Hill Country from Austin, San Antonio or anywhere in Texas? We'll get you settled in.

Moving in Wimberley: what to know

Wimberley is a small town of about 2,900 people, with homes spread out across the hills and along the Blanco River and Cypress Creek. Here's what we plan for on Wimberley moves:

Rain and low-water crossings. Heavy rain can close low-water crossings around Wimberley. We watch the weather and plan a safe route, and we'll reschedule if roads close.

Market Days weekends. On the first Saturday of the month, March through December, Market Days brings big crowds to FM 2325 near the Square. We plan around it.

Storage between homes. Downsizing or waiting on a closing? Our climate-controlled storage holds your things until you're ready.
