D&V Movers is a full-service moving company serving the local San Marcos community while
trying to make a difference.
New Clothes for Kids
December 3, 2022, D&V Movers hosted a charitable event, New Clothes for Kids in support of the Hays County Child Protective Board. Donations of essentials for children 17 and under such as diapers, new clothes, hygiene products, and more were encouraged. Visitors joined us from noon to 4:30 P.M. at First Baptist Church on 325 W. McCarty Lane in San Marcos for food, drink, a raffle, and fun.
Food and beverages were provided by AD's Kitchen, free of charge.
Raffle tickets were sold for $10 each and the rewards included $50 Summer Moon Coffee gift certificates, a 55-inch Insignia Smart TV, and a pair of Apple® Airpods.
All of the proceeds from the raffle and donations from New Clothes for Kids went to the Hays County Child Protective Board.

About Hays County Child Protective Board
The Hays County Child Protective Board (HCCPB) is an all-volunteer organization that began in 1978 to work with the citizens of Hays County, the Hays County Commissioners Court, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Their mission is to enhance the lives of children from families in crisis by providing support and services not funded by the State.
